Traveling by Ferry
The Bay of Fundy Tourism Partnership works closely with Bay Ferries to promote ferry travel to, from and within the Bay of Fundy. There are two excellent services to enjoy:
Ferry #1 - The Princess of Acadia
Across the middle of the Bay between Saint John, New Brunswick and Digby, Nova Scotia.
Sea. Adventure. Sail across the Bay of Fundy with a 3 hour Fundy-themed cruise on the Princess of Acadia between Saint John, New Brunswick and Digby, Nova Scotia. During your Sea Cruise, kick back with a Starbucks cappuccino and a book from our onboard library in the Rising Tide Café or delight in the spirited stories and entertainment provided by our Animators. The kids can let loose in Little Mates Quarters, home of our supervised children's play area. You can enjoy a Maritime flavored meal in the Fundy Grill then cozy up in the Sea Breeze Lounge and can catch the daily feature of our movie presentation. If you are an outdoor enthusiast then feel free to stroll the decks, feel the wind in your face and search the bay for a sighting of the endangered right whale or other sea life. For those of you who need to stay connecte visit the Business Centre offering computers and complimentary wireless internet.
Carries 180 cars and up to 650 passengers. Carries all vehicle types, inc. RVs, cars, motorcycles and walk on passengers.

Ferry #2 - The Cat
Between Portland/Bar Harbor, Maine and Yarmouth, Nova Scotia (the entrance to the Bay of Fundy).
High-speed catamaran car ferry that travels between the USA Bar Harbor, Maine and Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, in just under three hours and between Portland, Maine and Yarmouth in 5 ½ hours, The Cat brings a unique travel experience to these two distinctive ports.
Carries 450 cars and up to 900 passengers.
